Any reason I should buy the JD implements along with a JD-4300? Specifically: 6 foot rear blade at $450 and a #513 rotary cutter (like a bush hog) for $785. Would I be better off finding another source for these type of implements.

I didn't buy "GREEN" I bought the best overall deal for me --quality equipment, size of equipment, dealer quality, dealer location, and price. ....

When I got my estimate on a 4300, the dealer told me I would be just as welloff going next door [to the farm store] to get a rear blade and box scraper. That they woulld be less expensive and just as good. ....

Personally, I would surf around to get more information on other makersto see what they have to offer. You might go over to the following site to get a look at offerings from many manufacturers.http://www.yetmans.mb.ca/manufacturers.htmlor go to tractor supply (http://tractorsupplyco.com). I have found them to be anexcellent source for decent low cost attachments. ....
