I have a Case Farmall F35A, 2016. I had been mowing for about 3 hrs, stopped and shut off the finish mower, turned the throttle down to about 1500rpm, left the tractor running for about 10 minutes. Got back on engaged the mower, pushed the throttle up to increase rpms, but the engine failed to respond. Lowering the throttle failed to decrease engine speed. I then noticed my engine oil light was on indicating low oil pressure. Throttle handle moves freely.
Turned the tractor off and checked the oil, dipstick showed proper oil level. Started the tractor and took it to the garage, with no change in engine speed. Tractor was serviced about 10 months ago by local Case dealer with only about 100 hours since the service.
Is the throttle issue related to the oil pressure? My plan is to replace the oil and filter and if that does not solve the issue then I will contact the dealer. Unless one of you experts have a suggestion. Tractor only has about 370 hrs and just out of extended warranty.

When mowing that many hours your radiator screen and radiator can get clogged up causing overheating.
While you do not describe coolant overflow its worth a look at the radiator screens to see how they look.
Best of luck. ....

You are correct, I plan to work on it today. I did discover that when the engine is cold the throttle works normally. Therefore, as soon as the oil pressure light illuminates the throttle lever fails to change the rpm, I assume a safety feature for the engine. ....
