I am looking at 25 to 27 HP compact tractor and would like to know how sharp will they turn. I know Kubota and New Holland have turning system how do they compare to a JD4200 using it brakes for turning!

I honestly cannot say about the ones you are asking about, but mine turns pretty sharply - enough to easily roll the tractor if you are going too fast.Lee ....

Has anyone looked at the Honda compact tractor? Been out about 10 years nowand I think its in the mid 20 HP range. Might be 26 Hp. Anyway, the thing iswhisper quiet and has 4-wheel steering....just like some of their cars. Talkabout turn sharp! This one really turns sharp. ....

The Honda you seem to be refering to, is the 6255 22hp diesel. It does not have 4WS, but turns very sharp for a 4WD. Tightest I've seen in a tractor that size(hp).The 4WS/4WD model is the 5513 (13hp gas) & 5518 (18hp gas). Nice units, but find 6255to be an expensive light duty tractor. Mid mount mower cannot be in place at the same timeas a loader or other front implement(any model). Loader removal takes about 45-60 minutes, depending upon skill level.5518 is a heavy duty lawn mower in my opinion. Nice unit for the guy who has a muddy or hilly yard to mow. But doesn'tquite need a compact. The Honda 6255 is now out of production in the US (Canada?) ....
