Just a topic for discussion. Lets say you want a general purpose small tractor, no loader, just a device to pull implements like a bushhog, tiller, blade, etc. You have exactly $5,000 to spend on the tractor. Would you buy: used compact grey, really used name brand compact like Kubota, Deere, etc, new Chinese, or old American like Ford 8N, Farmall cub, etc. This question certainly has no "right" or "wrong" answer, but I am interested in the opinions of experienced tractor users.Thanks for your inputPaulB

If you have not intention of putting on a loader and you have space for a older larger two wheel drive tractor that would be your best bet. ....
