 Mitsubishi D2050..radiator is getting hot

Hi I recently bought this sweet machine,
just for cutting a little bit of grass on my farm out here in Paraguay.
Unfortunately the radiator(maybe used off) cant stand permanent temperatures over 32Celsius or more than 90Fahrenheit. The radiator showed me a real fountain..when I opened the cup after working..
My question:
1. Is there a bigger radiator to purchase, I have space to the front or can I install two..
2.To work with more safety I prefer to install a temperatur gauge or other measuring device..how?
Thanks,Mat

Welcome to the board!

First things first:

Keep in mind that a trctor cutting grass that is under-powered and/or asked to perform tasks it's not up to like high, wet grass in high temps will run hot. Mine does. Keep in mind that you're going slow under thses conditions and even though you have an engine fan, it may not be able to keep up with cooling compared to when it's at-speed.

Check the radiator fins-- front and back-- for debris--use a water hose to spray it out.

Do the same with the oil cooler, if it has one, in front of the radiator. Any drips of oil from the plumbing or fittings will drastically reduce cooling.

Replace the coolant---USUALLY, a 50/50 mix is required--but verify.

Run the machine and see if that does any good.

If it doesn't then:
Replace the thermosat and the cap.

Still no good:
The radiator may be calcified or plugged up with calcium, and should be replaced or rebuilt. You may be able to have it cleaned but that can sometimes cause it to rupture if it's old. The engine should be flushed too.

ok thanks-I think I ll gonna change the radiator first or put a bigger one..

Refering to the thermometer or measuring device. It has to be installed on the radiator or on the motor?
Thanks Mat

Have you priced a radiator? Don't surprised if they're a grand. I paid $550 just to have a skid steer one rebuilt. The dealer wanted over $800 for a new one and that was 7 years ago.

I'd put the temp meter on the engine--where? Ddon't know what the design parameters (operating temps) are, and whre te temp should be taken.

Clogged air filter will also cause your engine to run hot.
