Can the direction of mid PTO on a JD455 be reversed???

Do you mean as a permanent thing or with a control lever of some sort? I would really be surprised if it could be done without some homegrown internal modification. There were some farm tractors that did have a reverse setting, I don't know what brands they were or if it is still available on any of them. Frank. ....

After thinking about it for a bit, my guess is that you are wanting to convert a rear mount snow blower to a front mount? If this is your goal there are sources for small gearboxes that will do that by mounting them somewhere in the drive system between the PTO and the blower. The surplus Center comes to mind for having unusual things of that sort. Frank. ....
