 Belarus 24v starting system

Hi all!
I have a Belarus 90hp 4x4. Starting system is 24V I have the power to the starter but when I turn the ignition I have no power to the starter solinoid. Where does the starter solinoid get its power? I am told the solinoid is 24v as well. all power off the ign is 12v. What hints do you have for me any help much apprieciated!

I am not familiar with your tractor but some basic questions.
How do you have power to the starter and not the solenoid? Does it not run through the solenoid from the battery to the starter? My guess is the solenoid is on the starter and you have power to it and there is built in link from it to the starter. If so my guess is there is a single wire in the middle of the terminals that is running from the switch to energizer the solenoid pulling the contacts in it together for the path to be completed. If so then see if you are getting power to it when key is in start position. If so would be most likely a bad solenoid. If not getting power there then could be a safety switch issue, wire pulled loose or ignition switch. You could run power to that terminal bypassing all to be sure solenoid and starter are working but and a big but...you be more than certain the tractor is not in gear and then be sure again for you will be bypassing all safety devices and it could crank in gear and kill you.

 Belarus 24v starting system

My Belarus 800 tractor uses two 12 volt tractor batteries hooked into a 12/24 volt parrallel switch.
I think my tractor is somewhere around 1985 to 1990 vintage.
The parrallel switch allows the starter to receive 24 volts for starting purposes only when you turn your ignition key to the start position.
When you let the key go as your tractor starts up the little solonoid inside the 12/24 volt parrallel switch returns your system to 12 volts.
You may have one of those 12/24 volt parrallel switches in your tractor. It would most likely be close to your batteries.
If you can follow the positive battery cable it will lead you to it if your tractor is equipped with one.
If the positive battery cable leads you directly to the starter solonoid then your tractor doesn't have the 12/24 volt parrallel switch in it.
