Most tof the grocery stores I go to have a staff that retrieve the shopping carts from wherever the customers leave, which fo many is all over the place.
So today I stopped at a store that you have to insert a quarter dollar coin into the cart to get one. There is not one single cart that has not been returned to retrieve that little old quarter, even in 2023 when a quarter is not worth that much, made me chuckle to think how a little quarter was so damn influential !
