after adding more friction modifier (according to bottle correct amount was 2 oz and i have added one extra ounce), the noise is better, but far from gone. still wonder if the noise has any adverse affects long term on anything other than the ears.

i am still debating whether to replace or not. was leaking, but when removed everything on it looks good. toying with the idea of just puting new gaskets on and giving it a try.

just got a 6x4 gator and it has nearly 4000 hours on it. i do not know the history, but it seems to be running fine at the moment. is there a place/way i can run the kawasaki serial number and compare it's date of manufacture to the gators? i want to see if the engine has ever been replaced. also, how can i determine the year of manufacture for the gator?<br>

anyone have any experience with repainting a gator? i wonder how it holds up on the plastic or does it just crack off. thanks.
