Will a newer JD 220R loader attachment work on a JD 970 4wd tractor? I already have the valving. Thanks for any help.<br>

I have a sl 1643 ...just bought it and have no manual . I would like one as I am not sure about adding hydraulic fluid. <br>
I see a filler cap with a dipstick below the gear shifter?<br>

also back 3 point wont stay up...<br>
Ive read about electric controls for that but mine just has a lever on right side of the seat. <br>
It does have some wiring that is taped up near that lever.....maybe I am missing some electric controls...not sure...but the 3 point drops down slowly ..will not stay put<br>

there is another lever of some sort on the right side of the seat... down low at foot level ..and I cant figure out what it does<br>

Sorry pto side not pro side. But you have to adjust the drive side first

thanks for that tip> I will try the flush first thing. IT's just a bit strange...when you turn the steering wheel all the way to the right or left it doesn't come to a stop like it used to. I have heavier hydro oil in it then called for and at the end of summer I plan to change that anyway. Here in TN is gets really hot and humid.

I have a New Holland TN60DA 4wd tractor would like to know if it would pull a 12ft disc or should i look at 10ft. It has 55 hp.I don't want to have the tractor work to hard but would like to get as big as possible.Can anyone help?

Thanks gatorpop, I think it's probably connected to the 4 wheel drive in some way...even though I don't switch to 2 wheel drive afterward. Like I said it does take away the stiff steering sometimes if I do back up.

got it figured out was the o ring between the pump and the drive was blown out causing the hydraulic fluid to end up in the drive side and overfilling it figured i would let you all know in case you ever had the same problem

Rheidema thanks for your input...I told my dealer about the problem which they said was a problem that occurs from time to time...not much you can do about it...doesn't seem to damage the machine.

Thanks for the info. I have been reading the discussion boards on the New Hollands and did have some concerns about the electrical. That's one of the reasons why I started looking at alternative brands and have come to learn that most sub compact tractors are being produced in South Korea including the Mahindra Model 4110 (a serious contender). I like the ergonomics of the Kioti versus the Mahindra and the Kubota L4400. I don't see a lot of complaints about Kubota, Mahindra or Kioti versus many issues with New Holland and John Deere.
