I do have a whole lot of throttle left. The maximum RPM on the tractor gauge is 3000 RPM's. Full throttle will just about put it to that limit. It just seems like it is over reving the engine by just watching the tach. I do think that will help my power issue though. I rarely run the tractor over 2100 RPMS. Another 500 RPMS will make a difference.

Go to John Deere's website and do the tractor comparison. You will find that NH TC33D will out perform the JD 4300 in nearly every area. In the area where I live ( Eastern KY) NH, has as high or higher resale value than JD. I looked at them both really careful and the NH is just a better tractor. It looks better too. Just my 2 cents worth.

Several dealers in my area are against supersteer with a FEL or steep terrain. They feel that the SS creates a weak point when using the FEL and also allows the tractor to turn over too easy when on a hill.
