Did you ever figure out what was causing your leak? I have a BX2200 I purchased in 2000 that has an identical leak, that I just started to notice, that seems to be coming from the top of the HST directly beneath the seat bracket. A Kubota Dealer stated that the top threaded hole in the top of the HST (as well as the two side threaded holes), in a BX machine, serve no purpose and the top hole is not a vent at all. Please let me know.
