And Good Morning Again--I hit the wrong button and sent the first greeting with out a message-I seem to have Sometimers affliction. :)
Anyway due to the generosity of Bicycle4U and his technical skills we now have both PDF and WORD documents available for the ever elusive Duerr Shredder.
I can still mail anyone a hard copy if they do not have a printer but can also reply by Email with a copy. (Which is faster considering the fact I don't move as fast at 70 as I did at 20) :)
I also have digital pictures of the disassembled unit-which may be either helpful or scary depending on how mechanically inclined you are.
My flail head was an absolute $%#&^*( to get off and required a minor modification; two cans of PB Blaster and several oil soaked rags as well as a 3 foot section of pipe and a 5 pound hammer. To those asking to buy new flair head hammers-unless you have encountered some disastrous occurrence there are 4 heads to each hammer and you should be able to pull the roller pins reverse the hammers and be good as new.
Needless to say this may test your patience and religion but it is possible.
