Has anyone mounted a canopy on a 2210. If so, what brand? Was there any increase in noise level? Good points? Bad points?<br>

I have been very busy and havn't had time to get back until now. The 2210 was returned Monday mornining all fixed. The mechanic said he could find nothing loose only that the fan was closer than the 1/4" spec. to the deck acuating shaft. It appears that the whole problem was factory improper assembly.

I was so steamed last nite I forgot to mention that the parts department ordered a filter, after much prodding on my part, to be delivered via UPS to my home today. No filter when UPS delivered today.

I decided to go strait to the top. I called the main office for the local dealer. They have 4 stores and we are in the middle of all the stores. I spoke to the owner and explained my displeasure of dealing with his company. He said that he would check on the filter and get back to me. He called back about an hour later and said that when he tracked the filter that is was scheduled to be delivered today but must have gotten misdirected by UPS. He said that he had located a filter at another dealer, that someone was picking it up, and that it would be delivered to me by 2 PM. At 1:55 a car rolled up the driveway. It was the owner with the filter and a couple of hats. He said if I had any more problems to call him. As he walked back to his car he mumbled something about idiots and sending all of the customers to the competition. Hopefully things will get better at the local dealer.

Just paid $12,995.00 for 62" mmm, 210 fel, with turfs. Picked up Saturday. They would have delivered on Monday, but mom wanted to work (play) this weekend.

If the dealer is charging $200 for install, it should take 3 to 4 hours to install. I have a 2210 (MMM 62 & FEL) on hold at the local JD dealer and I was going to go today and make the final arangements for delivery, but I had to pickup my mother from the hospital. I will go tomorrow or Monday.

I was trying to find a GC2300 to test drive and found a 2001 1225 being sold as new with 29 hrs. on clock. My wife likes the JD2210 better so I thought I would pass this good deal on to someone else. Dealer is asking $10,000 for tractor with factory warranty (as new)and will include any implements at cost plus freight plus setup if required. Drove tractor and it runs good. Some paint comming off on top of grill and sun fading. Dealer gave me a copy of original factory invoice. They paid $11,612.50 for tractor. They took delivrey on 03/30/01. Dealer in Mid West. How much oil does the BX22 hold. I am looking at JD 2210 & Bx 2200. JD 2210 holds 2.1 qt. w/filter. Not much oil for a recomended 200 hr. service. That's like driving your car about 8,000 miles under severe conditions.
