i am a little baffled with the pulling trees out of the ground with a chain? is it to rip them out and dispose of them or up root them and replant them elswhere? if the latter i would use a tree spade, for the sake of the tree. or a shovel and some back. to rip them out with a chain can get a little dangerous if the chain slips off while you on the throttle. if you do use a chain ,take a second chain and lay it over the pulling chain so if it slips the second chain will lesson the recoil of the pulling chain. tgello

kelly, sorry i didn't realize the box blade was 6 way, and the trailer was also included. the trailer has got to be worth at least $3000-4000. i just bought a 18' dove tail tandem axle 4 ton trailer for $3000. check out the trailer and make sure the axles are rated for a good amount and it has electric brakes. thers a big diff. between a utility trailer and a landscape style trailer for hauling mowers. i don't know what the box blade is worth with the angle set up? the package deal don't sound too bad if the machine isn't beat. good luck...tgello

mark, don't know if this is of any help. i have a # for parts that i call for my old mtd tractor. mtd customer service 1-800-800-7310, ext.#1 parts,# 2 literature ,#3 questions. fax. # 1-800-656-5442. some other numbers that i had scribbled down on the paper, mtd 1-330-220-4683 ,1-800-444-1556 #235. the last number may be for the wharehouse that the parts are shipped from. the co. is W.J. JOHNMC, i just got a price on a 758c backhoew/18" bucket and dirt pads for $7065. less sales tax. the price was part of a deal with the purchase of a tc45d. johninca price didn't seem all that bad. tgello

ob1,have you come to the dark side? i was wondering what you thought when you went from diesel to gas? the power strokes seem quieter than the dodges, other than cold starts. let me know how it tows a trailer. was thinking about a 250sd diesel but was considering gas.tgello

i've been told that the 1920 series tractors are heavier than the boomers. if its 30-35 horses it would be somwhat comparable to the 33-35 .the 35 is a bigger framed trctor than the 33. the 33 is 3 cyl.as is the 35. if your going for a work horse i'd go with the 1920. if you wan't more comfort and ease of operation and med. duty i'd go with the boomer.
