The height of the left side you control with the position control lever. The right side is to adjust the tilt/level of the attachment. This is just the standard way to do it. You could put an adjustable mechanism on both arms if you want to.

Looks like an aluminum housing to me. Would not be likely to happen if the housing was steel or iron.

It probably indicates more serious trouble to come. I would get it checked. It could be as simple as a release bearing going dry. Can you grease the release bearing on that tractor ?

Quality on the Kioti's are good, seem to be about the same as the "premium" brands. I am not sure on the cub, but I think they are now being built by Kioti. Not sure about the one you looked at though.

I do not know your tractor, but I wouldn't think it should go into the red at all. In all machinery I have had/used the red zone is a no no.
They might normally hit the red zone for a short time immediately after shutting them off, but should not be in there while operating.

I will do a link to a picture on a new thread when I get it mounted. It is about the same height as a standard ROPS but wider, it extends out as wide as the outside of my rear tires. It also has 2 bars that go down and connect onto the front of my loader frame, but I don't think I will put those on. I guess with those on all you could damage if you roll over is the exhaust pipe.

I recommend building forms and using reinforcing rods back into the earth behind the wall. Then pouring in concrete. I am not sure how well the blocks would work, and they are not cheap.

If you need the extra HP go with a larger displacement engine, rather than just a slightly hopped up version of the same engine. If you use the extra HP/RPM the engine won't last as long as the slower RPM one.

With the larger Mahindra tractors loss of front wheel tracton is not a problem. I have a 3800 lb (base tractor weight) IH 2444 (2wd) and it WILL dig. Rear traction is no problem. When I am doing serious digging the front is often lifted off the ground anyway so 4WD would not help much. Power steering I have and it is nice.

Do you mean they assemble the tractor or just hook on the attachments and tires ?
If they really assemble the tractors at the dealers...this could explain the varying degrees of assembly type of problems that some customers have. Different levels of quality control at different dealers, rather than one constant level at the factory.

The slime stuff sold a TSC works pretty well. However there are more grades of the stuff that work better. Also I am not sure if the stuff works below freezing. Gemplers.com has some good grades of the stuff and some info.
