opps, had my fingers on backwards. Ment to say 4110, sorry thanks for pointing the typo out. Would like to hear from any one that has a 3320 and how much more meat it would have over the (((4110))) got it right that time.

I have a 4110 Jd with fel and rear blade and landscape rake, I am wanting more power and new, Does any one own one that can give some input on the 3320. <br>

Good story, made me think back after my father passed away my mother kept the then 10 year old car of his and 10 years later we kept pouring money into just becase it was a part of him. This is what they want and it kept her happy little price for a chunk of life.. Now when I pass away my wife will sell my 4110 JD fast because she thinks it has replaced her as much time as I spend on it.

I have a 4110 20 horse desiel, and I am wanting to haul a trailer behind it to pick up firewood. I have a 5 mile strip of ground along a river bottom that I can cut all the wood I want that is storm damaged or just feel down, no live cutting. the area is too tight for a truck. How large of a wagon or trailer can I pull off the back of the tractor safly. I have a 2in ball hitch. I want to cut down on the nubmer of trips. I am thinking I need to be carful about the weight of the trailer plus the wood I place in it. I can pick up large logs that have been cut to size with my FEL.<br>

Thanks guys that was what I was wondering about. My little 20 horse 4110 might not be big enough for the 72 inch. Maybe the idea of it will take a bit longer with the smaller rake is a good way to look at it. I am wanting to move around gravel, dead dry garden left over and rake around a heavy wooded area after a yearly flood. I am looking to go to a 3320 32 horse some day. But for now I better stick to smaller rake.

Just checked the price of a 5ft frontier lawn rake at an JD dealer ready for the quick release insteat of the stander 3point hitch and he said list 1304 and would sell it at $850, I priced some off brands not and heavy at a local farm store for 300 350, Brown in color can remeber name but I thought the 850 was high or is it.<br>

Ok here is an odd one for you all. We are re-doing my mothers yard after years of her natural look. Years ago she put down carpet and black plastic to keep weeds down then mulch. Over the years the mulch turned to dirt. I used my 4110 rear blade to pull up the carpet and plastic and dirt then used my bucket to stack it for later getting ride of it. Now I want to dig a bit deeper to level out the yard. The tractor all 4 wheels spin or the blade just skips across the ground. Can I add weight to the blade or what is the best way to level the ground to seed in grass. are is 100x40 and 40x70. Any ideas. thanks

yes you are right the rops were down, I now keep them up when cutting my town property the river camp is flat with a lot of trees. If I do loader work etc I put them up and I wear the belt too. Good eye.

What do you all think of steeping up to the 3320 from the 4110 I am looking for more ump for plowing snow, box blade and buck work look at the camp photos I have on pbase. Oh yes I want to push over dead stumps and someday buy a backhow pocket book permits someday.

when I bought my 4110 the John Deere web site had better spec on there web site like what the load the bucker could pick up break out force etc. Does any one know where to find better spec. I want to step up to this large guy but not sure if the step up is worth the money in horse power etc. Help. Life is too short to not have what one can use if you can just figure out if it is worth it.<br>

I have posted here in the past with good advise always given. I have a 6 month old 4110 and love the new 3320 and am going nuts do I upgrade the diffrence would be about 8,000. I could put up my garage and buy a box blad for th 4110 for this amount. I would love to have more power it is 32 vr my 20. I find I need more digging power and more ump to push stumps etc. would it be that much more of a tractor does any one know.

Just a thought from a green owner and I mean green not the the color. I had two jd in the past 335, 455 with bucket etc. then I bought my 4110. Now maybe I will never be happy but I could of used a 4115. I just have a small city lot hilly and a river camp. But I always have friends that want odd jobs done gravel graden etc. Heck I even just the other day dumped 7 tons of grave in a basement celler door to lay down gravel in a dirt basment. My point is buy 10% to 20% (maybe 30) higher hp of what you think you need and go for it. We only pass through this way once. They tell me you can not take it with you (money) but I am going out on my JD 4110.

For what it is worth.

Thank you for the feed back. What do you think of the price $4,000 to $3,800 and they kick in the power beyound kit.
He told me it would break up my 4 in to 6 in asphalt street that is abandon by the city for me to build my garage and I have to dig the footing. Would it handle that. I am not in a hurry for this type of work more of a hobby. Be it as green as iam.

I have been looking at the Deere site and the info they give is scaled down from what I read when I brought the 4110. Like weight and what the bucket will left roll rate etc. I too would love to know more. I have this promblem of wanting to step up in size and horse. So if any one knows of a site other than deere to get this infor please post. Or Maybe i just need to go out to the dealer when he gets them in.

I brought a 4110 6 months ago and love it. I have steped up from a 355 to 455 now a 4110, I now wish I would of brought a 4200 line. You can never have to much hp. But I found the frame for small property can be too much. I would error on the upper size not the lower limit.

I have a JD 4110. Every year after spring flood I have to drag a rake (home made) around the camp site about 1.50 acres of yard. This is to flatten out the mud wholes and cracks in the ground. I would like to know what might be better for this. I also want to remove or regenerate my yard at home. In other words starting from scratch and remove the old sod and replant my yard. So what attachment would be best for the combo of tasks I have in mind, or do I need multiple equipment. I am thinking a box blade or tiller or a disk. At this point this city boy with a great tractor and a small river camp is not sure where to put his money.<br>

Well it is solved; the package under the tree was a trek for my grand daughter not a box scraper. The attached photo shows us testing the big green out. I think she was not happy on her new toy and wanted to drive mine. Check out photo, I am going to have her working the big green tractor soon.

I just sold my 455 and bought a 4110. All I know is that my 455 would leave a lot of black soot on the bucket arm if I did not clean it off after a days use. Ask your dealer he would know more or of course the others here will know far more than I.
