I have a ballast box. It works well for my needs. Ifirst used crushed stone for weight, the first time I tried to reattach it to the tractor it all but killed me. I emptied it and then used bags of gravel,so I could take the weight out quicly,and or adjust the weight for different tasks.

THESE DID NOT APPEAR TO BE ATV TIRES THE WEIGHT RATING MATCHED MY TURF TIRES, THE REARS 26 X 12 X12 WERE THE SAME,THEY JUST DID NOT HAVE THE FRONT SIZE OFFERED. IS THERE THAT MUCH OF A GEARING ISSUE WITH THE FRONT, THAT WOULD BE THE ONLY ALTERCATION IF THE LUG PATTERN WOULD LINE UP.I THINK I ATTACHED A LINK TO CR TIRES?

I was checking out your pics, is that the same idea? You have them mounted on the side, I have already smashed my stock flasher/turning lights. Could you mount them up top? Ps. Inoticed in your bio you have a coon hound, I have a B&T coonhound and a bloodhound.

I am looking into giving my 2210 with a 49"fel a bit more bite while digging and grading. Can anyone suggest a good tooth bar or set up that would go on and off easily. I have a hard time believing that the local dealers are asking 300 to 400.00 for such a simple thing.

I have had a 2210,fel,mmm,for 3 months and I have yet to feel I was short of power. I just bought a 6' landscape rake and it had no problem doing the task. It is a very strong machine for its frame. It was a great investment, I have many reasons to go fire it up and spend plenty of time on it. The trick is to match up the right attachment to the 2210, It does not have the weight you need, like the next size up tractor (ie 4000 series,and boomer etc.).

I also forgot to tell you I am from outside Philly, where the home of tax free shopping (DE.) was more then happy to deliver me my rig 50 mile for 100.00. Better then pa state tax.06%

All three are great machines, I did feel the way the jd fel can be installed and removed is a snap after 1 or 2 times of doing it. The mmm deck jd offers are (I have 3 acres of grass,54"mmm) serious cutters. The blades move at such a fast rate it is like a mulcher deck. The creature comforts on the 2210 seemed better for me. I am 6'3, the jd seating area and controlls fit me better, which is important, when you are on it for hours, according to my wife they are misspent hours.

Hey thanks for the replies, that answers the questions I had on which impliment. I know my jd dealer sells a box scraper, I would think there is a better one for my buck, any brands, I am new to this market place.
