I agree with the level of engine noise being excessive. I enjoy listening to books on tape while doing chores and must crank the volume to max when operating the Kubota RTV. I have had my RTV since 4/04 and am very pleased with its performance and reliability.

I have had my RTV for 3 weeks, and it is great! It is much more solid than my old Kawasaki mule. The dump bed is well powered, and smooth. It climbs over rough ground in 4WD like a goat. I ordered a roof, extra lights and a windshield (cold Oklahoma winters checking on calves in the dark); still on back order, I guess. I pull a single axle 12ft trailer loaded with wire and T posts without a strain or wimper.
Did I mention it is fast? The price was about 11K.
A nice machine with which I am quite pleased.

I have an L5030 with cab. It is complex enough that I would expect that a factory assembly is more appropriate. The seals are well done. I would recommend an original purchase with the cab.

Your comparison questions are beyond my experience. The price tag is good. For 5030 + 832 I paid (with cab) 30K and KRAZFM 26,100 (no cab).

Beagle, thanks for this site reference. As a new owner of the L5030 I could not find any reference in the owner's manual for operating RPM either. The Kubotaengine.com site's engine models do not match with the Kubota L5030HSTC webb site description of the model. I will have to dig out the manual at home.

I was able to finance the whole deal at 0% for 36 months, but I was asked to put 25% down. The deal was 41K, however. I was ok with this and very ok with the 0% X 36.

I am new to this site, but I have seen the recommendation several times to make a list of your needs, and start with the implements first. Then choose the tractor second which will handle the accessories. Expect that one tractor may not do it all. Instead of renting the big stuff,I found a lawn company for the grass and bought an L5030 for the ranch chores, which I enjoy much more than the lawn.

Isn't there a newer fluid than CaCL which is made from beets and does not have the corrosion danger? I think it may even be slightly more dense as well. Has anyone tried it? Where can I find it?

$43K for the Tructor will limit its sales considerably! I spent 30K ,and am a proud owner of the Kubota RTV and an L5030 + FEL. I am very pleased to see the many new models of these vehicles since my first Kawasaki mule 7 years ago.
The concept is solid.

I need some experienced suggestions. I bought a 5030 to move(feed) round bales. The loader specs were used by the Kubota dealer to approve my work on the 1200-1500 pound bales. However, the 5030 is too light. If I pick up a bale on the 3 pt rear spear then pick up a forward bale, there is enough counterbalance. Is this too much to ask for this 4000# tractor's steel over the long term? Should I take it back and order a 100hp M series? I don't think adding weights on the tire will be enough. Exasperated!

Forget the B7800 I m now getting a L3400

I need more weight to counter balance the 1500 pounds 500cm in front on the (light) tractor. Carrying the 1500# bale on the rear will then allow me to move bales with the loader spike with improved stability.

5030 with cab, Hydrostatic, loader, off brand auger ( a late surprise) and hay spike was 31,000. They discounted 400 for the quick snap loader and allowed me to buy a Woods B72 brush hog for 1000 (not in the above 31K).
