I have a Kubota B7800 and have been very satisfied with it I think the extra hourse power and the size is well worth the extra cost. The stability and balance is very good and when I use the loader for digging or moving dirt I appreciate the extra HP. Also I have a 5 inch pto chipper which with the extra Hp works very well. I personally think its worth the cost

the 2000 B21 with loader and backhoe at $18750 plus the shipping whatever it is would save you $5000 plus its a newer tractor than the one in AZ and only 201 hours it didnt sound that baad to me in comparison

I have a B7800 I live in Oregon and the ground here is lava and sandy type soil with pine trees and bitterbrush. I use a rear blade and box scraper to clear the brush and it works well I also had the tooth bar put on the fel and it digs a lot better with the bucket than without the tooth bar. The tractor sits high enough it gets over the brush in the woods and is very stable. I think this model would work well for your projects. I didnt get the backhoe which you may want to dig footings unless they are real shallow and not house cuts. Im sure the 7800 would do house cuts also it just would take time with the fel. They have a lot of power and I have never had any problems with land clearing yet.

This must be a typo error the B7800 is the new model in 2003 and has power steering.

The L series Kubota is not a compact its the step above but if you want a good hard working tractor for landscape work you may want to look at the new Kubota model B7800. It is a 30 hp 4 cylinder diesel which has a lot of power for landscape work and is 4 wheel drive hydro drive with power steering which you will want with loader work. I bought one in Febuary and am using it for landscaping and land clearing and have been real surprised with what it does with no complaints at all. the B7800 is the largest size of the compacts without the costly extras of the same size B2910. I have a 7800 Kubota and have been looking for a chipper to chip pine tree limbs and bitter brush Im getting befuddeled by looking at all of the models and what they say they will do. I think I may get the Salsco 824 4x8 does anyone have any experience with this chipper. It has its own Hydraulic feed system and doesnt use the tractors. It also works with 15 pto hp minimum so the 7800 should handle it I think. also the infeed is 4 inches high and 8 inches wide so it should chip branches without aall of the trimming. any input would be greatly appreciated. I would look at the 7800 if you are thinking about the 2910 as its the same basic tractor without the frills and a lot cheaper. I have the 7800 and it works excellent with everything I want to do with it, Snow removes land clearing etc it has a lot of power to do I think what most small parcel land owners need to do without over doing the tractors potential

I looked a lot before I bought my 7800 I looked at the 2410 and for the same price the 7800 is much more of a tractor it also has 3 speeds instead of 2 it has the weight for snow plowing traction and would handle your other equipment easier with the 30 hp engine the only thing I dont know is how it would mowing close to to items and around sharp turns as it takes a little more room to turn but not much and it does everything I need with no effort at all. I looked up the B6200 in the prior models from Kubota and it says they were made in 1983. This is the only year they show that model made. Cy

My new B7800 was just delivered Saturday and I am really impressed my land has a lot of bitter brush and pine trees and with the tooth bar on the loader it really removes the brush fast now I need to get a chipper as they are cutting our burning off early. Has anyone used the Salsco 824 hydraulic feed chipper with a pto hp of 22 hp if so how do they do the job with the brushey things like bitter brush or sage brush I am sure it would work well with the tree limbs as anything over 4 inches will be used for fire wood

I live in Hillsboro, Oregon and have been looking for a tractor for about a year and looked hard at the b7500 you should check with Mark in Hillsboro kubota on TV highway he will im sure do a much better deal for you. I ended up buying the b7800 as its going on my central Oregon property where im retireing and I needed something a little larger over there. Im sure you could talk Mark into hauling it up to Battleground for you as it isnt that far. I actually bought mine from a friend of Marks in Redmond only because he is the local dealer in that area. I think the b7500 will do what you want
