I just purchased a new Kubota ZD28 Pro mower with 72" fabricated deck. I am curious to hear from other owners of these mowers as to their performance and dependability.<br>

A tractor that you might consider is a Massey Ferguson 231S. It is basically a no frills tractor with 8 forward and 2 rear manual gears, power steering, a 42HP Perkins Diesel that uses about a gallon of fuel per hour. This is a real tractor not a compact. I just picked up a 2002 with 100 hours for $8000 here in Ohio. A loader would probably add $2000-$2500 to a used tractor. You could go to WWW.Google.com and type in Massey Ferguson 231S and see what turns up.

That is very good advise to air the tires till the tread is is full contact with a level surface such as concrete. However the pressure needs to be adjusted every time that you put on other implements or take an implement off. I am in the tire business and I have farmers call every week inquiring about tire pressure on tractors large and small.

There is a dealer in North East Indiana that has a TC48DA 4WD, loader with quick attach bucket, grill, arm rests, rear work light, and scraper box with only 35 HOURS on it for $21,900. I suspect they might cut you a deal and take enough off so you could buy a rear finish mower. It is at Topeka New Holland Phone 260-593-2345. Ask for Carroll, Ralph or Shad. Hopes this helps.
