I'm not sure if you still wrenched on NH's or not but I have a question. There is a external oil tube that runs from the lower right side of the block to the front of the valve cover. The oil pressure sending unit is there.<br>

The question is, do you think that if I increased the size of that line and T'ed it off near the sending unit, I could have enough volume of oil to supply a small turbocharger and still continue to have enough indirect flow for the rocker arm shaft, tappets, and camshaft bearings?<br>

According to my service manual, the oil pump produces 49.8 to 63.7 psi. It does not really say anything about the volume.<br>

How were some of the bigger turbocharged TC's set up in terms of oil supply for the turbo? I realize that they were designed that way and mine was not.<br>

Thanks to all who posted replys to my questions. Yesterday the dealer delivered the new TC24DA with FEL. The NH backhoe and Woods RD6000 should be here next week! Again thanks to all for all of the information, sure helped with making decisions.

How is the subframe mounted 756C BH unattached as to be able to use the 3-point hitch? How easy is it? Just bought one for a new TC24DA and it will be here in a week.

DRankin..why did you not like fluid filled tires? I've never had experince with them or a loader as well. I've traded in a Kubota B-1550HST with 54"mmm and turfs on the front and some sort of Firestone Bar/Turf?? on back. The rears did fine but the fronts would gum up. I have some wet areas around here and now after rethinking, I might change back to the R4's. The dealer is not delivering until the 28th. He'll do whatever I want no cost change.

Almost two years ago I bought a B-1550 hydro with a 54" deck. It had around 200-220 hours on it and was in excellent shape for $7500.00. I've since bought a 5' rear blade, 4' tiller and a 4' brush cutter and this tractor has been excellent. I now have 630 hours on it with little problems. It sounds like a good deal to me.

Last year when I bought mine..even with shipping it was still better than any known name brand locally, (TSC/KK, WOODS, ETC). Since steel prices are rising, nothing is getting cheaper. I've ran the hell out of mine and being gear driven I know that it will last longer than anything else that is twice the cost. (BTW, I was not paid for this endorsement.)

I have a 16'x6.5' tandem axle landscape trailer that I would like to add brakes to. The trailer weight is 1600 lbs. and I usually haul my Kubota with a MMM, or with brush hog, or tiller, depends on the job. Anyways the usual load is 2000-2500 lbs., as a quick guess maybe more? Obviously brakes on both axles would work the best, but if I were to put brakes on one axle which axle would it be. The front or rear? They are both 3500lb. axles with the backing plate flanges there already.

Everything "sounded" okay before the deck broke so I'm not sure about anything out of balance. If the welder can fix it, I'm planning to get new blades since the ones on there have been sharpened many times...but still balance okay. FYI a new RC-54B is $2000.00 and a new RC-60B is $2200.00. I can get a Woods RD6000, a rear mount-rear discharge used twice for $1300.00. The tractor itself is in excellent shape, however I really don't want to put several grand in a ten year old tractor. See what I'm up against?

There are no noise or other ordinances that prevents either one of use from making noise or anything else at anytime. I don't want appear to be doing something out of spite, so I figured that I could run a straight pipe/no muffler off the tractor and I would be "getting even" the same time I am serving a purpose (mowing, tilling, etc.) We both burn brush and etc., so I don't want that to be an issue for them to use to get back at me for.

Zippy, if you are doing a lot of "close quarters" type stuff like mowing around trees or grading/tilling around the house, or even snowplowing I highly recommend HST. I was not too keen on buying a HST but after one summer and one winter with one, I would not own another standard transmission.

Using a B1550HST I would like to buy a Kingkutter rotary cutter and I don't know if I should buy the 4' model at 420 lbs., or the 5' model at 521 lbs. I have flat land and a large hill. It seems to me that the 5' model would be too much weight. Any comments? Joe

I have a B1550HST and would like to add front weights to offset rear implements. I have Bi-Speed turn on this tractor. After adding front weights should I turn off the bi-speed turn? Will leaving it on and adding weight to the front wear something out?
