Just how difficult is it to install and remove the mower deck?? My dealer is saying he recommends a rear finish mower, but then I would have to remove the BH. Which would be the least effort?

Is there any concerns to be had over buying a unit that has been sitting on the lot in the weather for 6 months?? Also, on oil shows on the transmission dipstick? One hour shows on the meter.

Was just about to order a 3130HST tomorrow. This is the first I have heard of getting only 500hrs. out of a tranny before a major rebuild. I would like to know more about the reliability of the HST. Comments from other would be interesting or if there is another thread that I have missed, please let me know. thanks

2002 or 2003 L2600DT, 4WD, with 60" rear finish mower (no FEL) and 42 total hours - is bidding around $6700 on eBay. What would be a Max. bid on such a machine?? thanks for any comments

Is it true that if you buy out of state (Arkansas) and have the unit delivered (to Texas), you dont have to pay taxes?? Or, does this only apply to "farm us only" situations?? Just wondering if I can simply step across the state line, make the deal, and save the taxes.

Trying to decide may send me to a shrink. My house is on 4 acres with lots of trees, shrubs etc. to mow around. The bulk of the property is wide open pasture, pens.. Looks like I need two completely different rigs to take care of the whole property.

Gotta make a decision----Because of back problems I need advise on which system is best (easiest) for hooking up boxblade, cutter, tiller, etc. I am experienced with regular 3pt. but am wondering if I should go to the telescopic & premium 3pt or just convert everything to quick hitch. I cant bump, push, and coax the implements any longer. Any suggestions would be helpful. thanks.

Beagle: Looking at the specs,there is very little difference. What is the difference?? And, what features of the 2910 did you add to your 7800??
