Well Gee. I seem to have ruffled some feathers, sorry if I hurt feelings or bothered some of you. Just checking to see if anyone pays any attention. Guess you do, if I hurt feelings, insulted someone,,made someone uneasy I truely am sorry. So, I will only post messages that are non inflamatory in the future. Thank you for your reply, seems like a lot of people use this site for their own "private" type "good-old-boys-forum" what, do I have to be 85 yrs. old to qualify and say ya-all? C'm on folks lets all help each other. I noticed a lot of you posters could give a rip about Oliver, but for the grace of God there goes you. If you do not like what I write, so be it. Does anyone own a 1601 or 1610 Yanmar? I would like to know how to extend the wheels outward for maximum distance. I am worrried about tipping while on a side hill or incline. Does anyone know if I can reverse the rear wheels and gain anything? is there any spacers I can purchase or just what can be done? JB

I just bought a yanmar 1601D Is there a way to mount the wheels so they extend further out in the rear and front? I would like all the stabilty I can get. Not sure if reversing wheel will add much width.

O, re-read the above answer I sent you, things will work out, maybe not as fast or the exact way you want them to, but they will work out. Usually for the best, in my life things that did not go the way I wanted them to usually turned out better in the long run. It hurts in the gut now, but when it is time for hind sight it will look a lot better. Think about what I just said, look back and see if I am not telling you true. Good luck to you, give it some time and maybe spray the fields to make them grow, or tell me what to use on a lawn planted last summer, now green but needs help with some weeds that came it. What would I spray first, make it grow stuff or weed killer? Then how long would I wait before spraying again? Have about 2.5 acres in new grass.

Need solid bed, no runners, 7000lb. gross weight minimum, 63 or larger in width, have 2&5/16 ball or 2in. Need brakes and RV type plug (7) wire. 15in tires ok, tandem axel. Can pick up in Eastern WA or Northern Idaho, Needed it yesterday. Also need drive up type loading ramps.

I was told the way to figure horse power was to multiply the model number, first 2 by 1.25. If you take a 1610 yanmar, take the 16x1.25= 20hp. Seems to be pretty accurate and came from a guy that makes his living selling tractors. Works for me.
