The quick connect lines on the hose have valves that sometine go bad. I had this on an 8345. I had another tractor that I was able to take one off and change it to find the bad one on the 8345. Worst case is to take one off and buy a new one and try it out. Another way to check is to swap the two lines and see if the problem changes with the line swap

The clutch disc may have stuck to the flywheel. I had a 525 that did that. Call Mark at 641.710.2289, he helped me over the phone to get it working. He is a really good parts man and knows the Belarus. You may want to get the owners manual from him if you dont have one. Anyway he is a good man to know for parts and help.

My 420 is also a hard starter in cold weather. I pull back/out the compression release and let it spin up for about 2 seconds and then push it in and it usually starts right up.

I think you have a 4 wheel drive. If you use the four wheel drive, you must use the same tire as the tractor came with because the rear and front gearing is matched. You could cause expensive damage using 4 wheel drive with the wrong front tires. I dont know what the best buy on these tires is but Mark at 641.710.2289 may be able to give you information on best brand for the $. If you are NOT going to use four wheel drive, he may know the cheapest way to go. good luck

You can get the repair manual and a parts manual that shows all the parts and how they interact. I would call Mark at 641.710.2289 and order the manuals and ask him about the problem. He is one of the best Belarus mechanics and parts men in the U.S. and he will help us out over the phone.Just buy your parts from him to justify his phone time.

There are two hydrolic fluid tanks. One is up front by the radiator and the other is back on the left hand side upper in front of the fire wall. I think the front has a twist off cap and the back is a square not. 30 weight engine oil. The operators manual has this in it, Call Mark at 641.220.2499 for the manual and he is one of the best parts men in the country

For cold weather, the Belarus epuipment works better than the Delco and about the same price. Call Mark at 641.710.2289 Monday thru Friday for Belarus parts and he is good at trouble shooting over the phone. He is in parts now but has worked on most of the 250, 400, and larger series. This is a good friend to order parts from and call to solve a problem when you are in a jam.

The owners manual has a bunch of information that is handy including how to operate it and the regular mantain operations, oil, grease, valves etc. You can order a book from Mark at 641.710.2289. Then ask him your question and he will tell you how it is done. This is a parts guy that has done a lot of Belarus work. So order you parts from him, and he helps you with stuff when you need it. A good buddy to have.

I am in the Dallas area and have a 405, and have had a MOMO loader and know of the TAS loader. I have all manuals for the 405 and can give you a fairly good run down for what to look at before purchase. I do my own work and have a good parts source. In my opinion, If you can work on your own stuff, the 405 is the best buy out there (I have four -400- series tractors at the moment). I just went thru this and there are problems with the Delco. Call Mark at 641-220-2499. He is at a Belarus dealer and he is the sharpest Belarus man I have talked to. I got a rebuilt form him pretty reasonable.
