I went to a grey market dealer near ashville nc. He admits he gets his reconditioned tractors from I believe he said vietnam. He normally gives a unconditional warranty for 90 days. The way I look at it is like this; they all seem to buy their tractors from vietnam,a box car worth 10-20 tractors at a time. They have a service dept which probably checks the common problems that might have been over looked not really knowing how good the tractor really is and after warranty period any repairs are all chargeable.Am I correct in my thoughts???? Does any grey market dealers in the south east do their own reconditioning??? Any names.....thank you

I just came across a 1994 YMF 17D tractor. It looks new the owner said a yanmar dealer reconditioned it. The tractor has a new front bucket and a new bush hog. He wants $7200 for all. It is a 4wd diesel 3 cyl. The hour meter reads 5 hours.Is it a grey market tractor? Is it worth that price?????<br>

Can anyone give me some names of reliable dealers for grey market tractors with good reputations in the SC-NC GA area.Personal experience would be appreciated.The web has about 5 dealers that advertise. They all sound good with warranty from 90 days typically

I have spent hours looking at all your grey market tractor information.How many people can tell me going to a tractor dealer how to do a check on a diesel tractor after looking at the pretty paint.I am sure their are a list of checks to do to see that the tractor you are looking at will give you reasonable service for at least 500- 1000 trouble free hours. I think that with proper care 500- 1000 hours is not unreasonable since you already know that these tractors are used and I am sure only replacement parts that are necessary are replaced.
