I would probable go with the First Choice. They are a copy of the Landpride, and usually less price. I don't know if the parts are interchangeable. From all the reviews, FC is a real good mower. I have a Befco rfm 60" rear discharge. It cuts beautifully. I noticed you did not mention befco. But with all rear discharge mowers,the longer the grass is when cut, the more the cut resembles a bush hog. But if cut often enough it delivers a beatiful cut.

I have a tiny Tach on my Bx 2200. It was real simple to install. The hook up uses a 6mm transducer. Clean all of the paint from the small area where it goes. The red wire goes to the battery and the black goes to ground. The long wire that is with transducer wire, goes to a ground that is under the hood. I mounted mine on the dash above the turn switches. The wires go down the same hole that the the turn signal goes.It works very well.Now I don't have to run at full throttle to get 3125 rpms for 540 rear mowing.

I have a rfm for my Bx2200. I was going to get a mmm, but the extra money was spent on DIESEL FUEL. I have a Befco 60" rear discharge. And it is great. The rear discharge uses less HP. But it will mimmic a bush hog if the grass gets too tall. But it does scatter the clippings fairly well.

I'm glad to see that you like the machine.What tractor are you using? I used mine for bermuda grass seed this july. The grass semms to be coming in very well.

Gary I have a 4' taylor way rear cutter. I use it on my Bx2200. It does a very good job. If you set it up like the manual says, it will work very good. For grinding up the discharged material, set it flat, but more power is needed. I mow about 7.5 acres mostly flat weeds and tall johnson grass. But it works well. You tractor should handle a 5 footer well.

Nellie,I'm new to the CTB, but I own a 4' tufline disc. I have the tge model. It only weighs about 250lbs.I added an adtl` 250 lbs and it cuts ok. But this is red clay we are trying to cut here.This model does have the adj, gangs and I probably would not get one that didn't have that feature. You can quickly adjust the cut and finish. Growing up on a farm also helped me to make my descision.
