On Ebay there is a company that sells complete cat 0 lift kits. Their name is Redland Hill. They manufacture all kinds of hitch equipment for tractors and garden tractors. Do a search for garden tractors then hitches, you should find them there.

I bought my linear actuator for my sears (craftsman) sleeve hitch off ebay and paid less than one hundred dollars for it. 12V 8" stroke and 500lb lift cap. Sure was a lot cheaper than buying their $599.00 kit. Modified my front snow blade to use the actuator to lift and give me down force works great.

I worked for Home Depot in the tool rental department. The company purchased a self-powered Bearcat chipper for rental. I have to say that we spent more time working on that chipper than we did renting it. We had trouble with the flywheel coming off and the bearings on the shaft that carry the flails wore out several times within the 18 months that we had it for rent.
