I just bought a 6'KK rake with gauge wheels for about $480. Fit and finish do not compare to the major brands but it seems to be well built.

I think your dealer may be trying to sell you what he has. From what I have read the King Kutter tillers are very sturdy and I for one do not believe they break down any more than any other tiller. Any dealer should be able to get parts in case something does go wrong. They are made in the USA not in Italy as many of the others are no matter what brand is on them. I have not read one bad thing about the KK tillers. <br>

Howard is a good tiller also as is many of the others. Just decide what you want to pay and go for it.<br>
