thanks for the info. does your book show or tell anything about the timing marks on flywheel. i have been able to find tdc, but i dont know how much to turn flywheel to find 14 degrees before tdc. if i turn it a inch, more or less. also does it tell anything about a timing mark on the clutch bellhousing. thanks

with some help from other source trying to confirm this info before i dig in. injector pump was taken off with out noting timing marks. this is a 1987 taishan 30 hprse power diesel. talked with someone and here is what he said. on the injector the front line (there are 2) hold your finger on the opening and turn motor over by hand until you feel pressure. then pull gear off pump, pull top motor cover off and turn motor over by hand until both valves are open and then turn motor back 12-14 percent and then put gear back on pump and reinstall motor cover. does any of this make sense. thanks

was able to fix my injector pump problem. it has 2 injectors one was stuck, took some fine sand paper and sanded the pin. moved with ease after that. i thought i marked with paint all the places that would keep me from fooling with the timing. well i did something wrong. i can get it running but water is coming out of top of radiator and smokes more than it should. so help if you can . i can take the gear back off of injector pump. just dont know where the engine gear needs to be or aligned for injector gear. thanks

ok simple question. when you remove fuel connectors from top of injector, that goes to engine. it should shoot out fuel or have some type of pressure, when engine is turning over.

i was checking connector on rear taillights to see which was parking light and brake light. i shorted out wires by accident. the brake lights work but rear parking lights and front amber lights do not. the front amber flashers work. cannot find clearly which fuse or relay is for parking lights in owners manual. thanks for any help.

anyone have any info on 1998 suzuki king quad 4x4 300. i started having trouble after i ride for 5 minutes it loses power. it will start right up and idle all day long but when in gear it will not pull its weight even on level ground. i have drained gas tank with no signs of debris. i have looked on suzuki website about whats inside of gas tank. here is what i saw . one tube about 2 inches long looks like a brown straw in the area where the fuel leaves tank. then there was another tube just laying in bottom of tank about 4 inches long dont know where it belongs. there is a opening next to the short tube, but i have know idea if it belongs there or how i reinstall it. i was able to get the 4 inche out and put gas back in, but there was no change. when i rev it up even in neutral it acts like it not getting fuel and wants to die. any help. thanks

thanks greg for the info. i found a blown fuse and a pinched wire. repaired and running good once again. thanks

i pulled spark plug and with plug put back in wire and holding close to engine i see spark.

i was hoping to reset the carb screws to control some of the flooding.

to all who gave me some good insight, the wire was in conduit underground. had electrician check it out , found a short that was causing voltage drop. was able to dig by front of building and get lucky and find problem. going to replace wire. thanks

just wondering if someone knows of a reasonable deer feeder for my back yard. i use corn feed but hate that the birds and others eat it before the deer . we consider them like distant pets for the kids to see. i would like for one to feed like once in the morning and once at night.<br>

i am attemting to replace a/c compressor on 2001 f-150 5.4 4x4 supercrew. i have the three bolts loose that hold unit to the motor. how do you remove the a/c lines, i feel a bolt and see a nut on side near the end. what all has to be removed to get it out of truck. thanks<br>

anyone have ideas on garage lights. it may be heated or not in winter, which means i might have some trouble with fluorscent. <br>

looking at something that is somewhat energy efficent bright and can be used with 12-14 foot ceilings. 110-220 volt is available.<br>

any thoughts on halide lights i have seen 175 watt,200, 400,<br>
but heard they can put off some heat in the summer months.<br>

thanks for all who have gave me some ideas. here is some more info on my garage. i have put on water repellant sealer on outside walls, i also used drylok sealer on inside walls to seal out moisture. it does have gutters to keep rain away from side walls. i have not put anything on concrete floor. my building is 40 x 50.<br>

i do work out in the garage and have the overhead door open sometimes.<br>

what kind of moisture will i have inthe winter months, it can get down in the teens for a few days at a time. i would like to keep some kind of constant temp to help out .<br>

i have a concrete block building with concrete floor and metal roof , wood trusses. i had foam insulation sprayed on the inside of metal roof to help lower heat.<br>

now i have a problem with humidity, the building is not vented. before i start to install vents, i want some ideas from others on what works or does not.<br>
<br>
right now what was stored in there had mold on it and things were starting to rust from the moisture.<br>
<br>
this was a new building, is it just part of everything curing and the moisture problem gone.<br>
<br>
i was hoping that maybe i could figure out some type of climate control so i could put a car or truck in there without it rusting away.<br>

i have a stihl fs 76 weed trimmer that was running fine until i found a crack in the primer bulb. i was able to fine a new bulb and installed it. was wondering if anyone knows how the adjusting screws are set, if you turn them in all the way then back out so many turns. it has three screws two small ones side by side and a larger one under those two. i am having trouble getting it to start.<br>

also it has a cj8 spark plug, anyone know the gap.<br>
