I too was disappointed with the industrials any time I happened to be in or on ice snow or clay. But they are an excellent choice for yards, meadows and forest lanes. My solution was to install chains when working in the "rough".

That looks really interresting but probably more than I need and rather difficult to put on and off. I've been thinking of a very simple maybe four bolt attachment method for the plow blade. I use the fels very frequently for as it seems any heavy moving task. I'd like to be able stick the blade on in a couple of minutes. Obviously I will have to sacrifice blade options such as a swivel for changing angle. Thanks for the site--looks great if you want to mount and leave it on all winter.

Guys--Another dumb question. I purchased a post hole digger with a 9" bit last year. Seems to never be capable of going down 3'. It always seems to dig about 18" then just spin on the compressed/dry clay subsoil. I've made sure the pivots were not binding or out of availible clearance.I realise the B2910 has no down force but the digger frame has significant weight---seems like it should continue untill out of stroke or bottoms on the boom pivot linkage.<br>
Any ideas? I question if a tractor without down force can really/effectively be used for post hole digging.

About a month ago one of the guys from up north suggested a 2" pipe slotted to fit over the FEL blade.He suggested welding a couple of nuts to the pipe and inserting bolts for semi-permanent attachment. Tried it and have to say it solved my gouging problems.

About a month ago,on this site, I had found a really neat stand for the backhoe when off the tractor. It was made from what looked like a utility trailor axle. <br>
Can't seem to find the picture or write up now.<br>
Really appreciate it if someone could direct me to the location.

Well the noise has always been there. I did change hydraulic oil at 50 and 200 hours (and filters). Went with industrial oil per my dealer. This weekend I will be changing out the fluid with super UDT.
Another question--My dealer suggests UDT for the front axle case--Any opinions??

The tires are the industrial--dealer supplied option. They were recommended as less damaging to lawn/yard than agri type.
As for the clearance problem-the front tire has about 1/4" clearance with the front steering link on the b2910 hydro.
Haven't tried fliping the tires/rims, this may give adequate space--anyone try this before.

My new 900 was delivered last week. Generally I am very impressed with the machine. I have one problem, after backing up any small hill, the unit sticks in reverse. I have tried turning the steering wheel, letting off the brake and so on. Still remains firmly in gear.<br>
Does anyone know if this is problem associated with the machine being new or Is there some adjustment I need to make?
