I'm having the unit delivered today. $15,500 total, which includes the BX24 unit and a 4' shredder.

I'm looking at buying a new Kubota BX24. The local dealer gave me a price of $16,700. It includes the front end loader, backhoe, and a four foot finish mower. Is this a good/fair deal?

We've got almost 5 acres. It's all pretty flat with not much grade to it. Do you think a bigger tractor would be too much?

I'm looking at buying a 98' JD 4100 HST. It currently has 380 hours on it. It comes with a 410 loader, 60" midmount belly mower, rhino 48" box blade, and an 8 sack PTO driven fertilizer spreader. It looks like I can get the unit for $10500. Is this a fair price? Also... does anyone know if I would be able to add a backhoe to this unit? Thanks.
