Yes I did get it fixed. Stupid rookie mistake - just as you mentioned - I was not pushing the handle far enough to the right to get past the detent. After reading your e-mail, I went right down and tried it and it worked great (only issue I would say it has now is that it moves way to fast - but oh well, I can deal with that).

I am considering selling off my l4330HST with r4 tires, BH90 Backhoe, LA 853 loader, quick attach bucket, rear worklight, and mid pto. It has about 110 hrs on it. What do you folks think would be a fair asking price for this? I have a new house which has less property (10 acres instead of 100 to maintain) but more lawn to mow (5 acres instead of 1. I am considering a B3030 or a B7800.<br>

I am looking to buy lawn tractor and have a couple of questions. 1. What opinions do people have of this tractor(quality, durability, able to mow on a hillside)? 2. What would be a reasonable price for a used 2005 model with about 50 hours on it (my buddy has one he is trying to sell - it originally came from Art's Store in Waterville). I appreciate any and all responses.<br>

I am in the process of restoring an old Meyers 7 1/2' plow with the intention of mounting it to the front of my Kubota L4330. I was planning on building my own subframe and attaching it to the bachhoe/loader subframe in the middle of the tractor and the brush guard in the front of the tractor. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? One other question - I also considered putting on the Kubota plow undercarriage and then modifying the plow to fit that, but I am concerned about cost. Does anyone know what the subframe alone for a front plow/blower/broom costs?<br>

Murf,

I have a new l4430 that I would like to mount a front blade on for snow removal. Kubota wants close to 4 grand for their setup. Are you saying that you use a standard truck snowplow blade and adapt it to your kubota somehow? If so, how is it done and what is the overall cost? Do you set it up with Hyrdraulic lift and angling capabilities as well?

I just recently took delivery of a new L4330 HST with a BH 90 on the back. When it was delivered the young man tried to show me how to take off and put on the loader which he assured me was a simple job. It came off no problem, but getting it back on was a fiasco. The back end of the loader that "hooks" over the solid pin on the mount would not seat on one side. It just kept riding over the top of the pin. After much work we finally got it to seat. We then tried it on the other side of the driveway (crowned the other way), but still had the same issue. After he left I pulled it into the garage to try it on concrete and still had the same issue. I looked at the loader from the front and realized that something looked crooked. I got out a tape and measured from the floor to the mounting pin on the tractor bracket and low and behold there is an 1 1/4" of difference in the height of the two pins. I had the service guy come out today and he looked it all over, measured numerous things, and came to the conclusion that one of the brackets must have been welded crooked and he is going to take it to the shop to replace the bracket.<br>

My question is has any one ever seen such a problem are there any other things I should be concerned about or look for on the tractor to make sure there right the first time?<br>

My local dealer knows I am in the market for a tractor and he e-mailed me just the other day with info on a tractor he just took in on trade. I went to see the tractor today and really want to know everyone's opinion on this as I don't want to miss out on this if it is a good deal.<br>

Tractor Vitals: 2003 TC40D - 138hrs - Hydro trans. - NH Loader - NH Backhoe - 4 wheel weights - balance of warranty - looks new with the exception of a crack in the hood where a round fence post rolled off loader and hit hood. The tractor was owned by a doctor who had horses and looks like it was lightly used.<br>

The asking price on the tractor is $22,000. Does this sound like a fair price? I was thinking about trying to get him to throw in the mid-pto (parts and installation) and/or a rear remote into that price. Any thoughts on that?<br>

I am new to this board and new to the tractor buying game in general. I deceided it is time to replace my 18 HP craftsman that I currently use to snowblow my 700 ft downhill driveway. I want to get a backhoe and loader attachment for my purchase, but my #1 priority is a front mount snowblower. I have done a bit of research on the NH tractors think they might be the way to go. Could someone please tell me the difference between a DA tractor and an A tractor? NH's website is pretty vague on this one. Thanks in advance for your help
