HEY '<br>Hey he went to that dealer for the oil and filters they most likely make more money on that stuff then the tractors, They need a litle Total quality managment training, they might get the next tractor he is going to buy,<br>R Brigs good luck with your 7300 there a good unit and just buy eveything from the dealer that treats you the best, that what this whole sight is here for, If you people were not checking things like pice and service you would not look here just your dealer. get off his back. <br>Tracy.

I have ran a 40

I ran the 40 on a kubota b6100 14hp
and the 48 is on a new B7300, runs it great. If your near lewiston Idaho, I could email you the name of my dealer thay treated me really good,

I think you will find its tractor Hyd Fluid. the new spec. is J20A In the Mobil oil line its called Mobilfluid 424 its a tractor hyd 10w-30 multi use oil. hope this helps

The BEST oil to use is Mobil Delvac 1 its a sythetic 5W-40 its great for the winter engine turns over easier helps in starting. And can't be beat for hot temp. I run it and love it. it the $15.00 gallon scares you they also have one called Delvac 1300 15W-40 its great just not sythetic. good tractoring

I would say 6,000 would be a fair price, you can buy a new 7300 with a loader for 10800. I just sold a B6100 with a tiller for 6000 and that was a fair price,

Yes there is a difference between red dyed kerosene and diesel fuel, you are dealing with 3 different products. The EPA has federal regulated the fuels and additives (part 80 of code of federal regulations title 40) reduced the allowable sulfur content level of on highway diesel fuel from and aprox average of .25 percent by weight to a maximum of .05 persent by weight. They also require that on-highway diesel fuel have either a minimum cetane index specification of 40 or meet a maximum aromatic level of 35 persent. <br>The guy that said it all the same product is wrong, a lot of companys sell # 1 stove oil dyed as (kerosene) there is a difference in kerosene and K-1 Kerosene also with the taxes on products and the reporting of taxes.<br>If you look at your options you can either run the on road product and pay the road taxes or run the dyed product(which has more sulfur more lubricity good thing) I run the dyed off road diesel, I would not run kerosene or # 1 stove oil unless its realy cold then it would only be a 50-50 mix which would take the cold filter plug point down to about -40 below that i am not running my tractor.<br>Hope this helps tracy

I just bought friday a B7300 tractor loader and 4 foot rotary cutter (land pride). It did a great job I cut about 5 acres weeds up to 4 foot high.<br>I looked at the B2400 and the 2710 before I went with the B7300 the others have some nicer features (power steering) but I really don't miss it, I ran a 1980 B6200 (13 hp) for 5 years in a landscape business got along fine without Power steering.<br>Bang for the buck I could not go wrong with the 7300. I bet you could get them to knock a few bucks off.

I just bought a New B7300 and only have 7 hours on it, when I iddle it down it make a loud tick tick tick noise, I have been told its just the injector pump and not to worry, is this normal. it goes away at above 2000rpm makes the noise at the 1000 to 1500 range. runs great. what do you think.
