I purchased it from Brenda at Carroll's Equipment located in Dameron. I did check at several other locations but wanted to go with Carroll's due to establishing a customer relationship with a local dealer instead of one outside the county. Yes I did negotiate the price. I tried to get it lower but that was the best they would do. As of last week they did have about five JD 2210�s in stock.

I looked at two brands� I was considering the GC2300 from Massey Ferguson. But, I didn�t choose either the GC2300 or the BX2230 due to the fact they didn�t have a tech. I personally think every tractor should have a tech. I did email Massey Ferguson and Kubota to see it they had plans of adding a tech in the feature and only Massey Ferguson was considering it for the GC2300 in late 2005 for the 2006 model.

I have a JD2210 with R4's and it doesn't tear up my lawn unless it�s very wet. I use it mainly for cutting the grass and I love it� I too, wanted a JD4110 but couldn�t justify the $3,500 difference since my main use is cutting the grass and a little landscape work for the loader.

I know there has to be some JD 2210 owners out there that can tell me what RPM they cut their grass at... I was told to cut at the 540 mark. I also have another question I seem to be getting very bad mileage. How many hours should I be getting to a tank of fuel?

I took delivery of my 2210 on April 2nd and it too had lots of scratches on the arms and the frame as well as a few gouges. I went back to the dealer and told them and they gave me a can of JD Green paint... It was a b**ch fixing the scratches. While I was at the dealer getting the paint I walk out in looked at the other loaders they had on pallets waiting to be installed and not one of them looked as bad as the one they gave me... I thought at first it may have been a unit that had been sitting around but the date on it said March 16, 2004. So, to save face with the dealer incase I had a major problem later, I decided to let it go... TOM
