I totally forgot about this site until Vince reminded me.

I have a little over 400 hours on it now. The only problem I have had is a little roll pin, (about 10cents broke). It holds the hand throttle on. I have not replaced it yet.

Tractor has always started, and loader has always performed great.

It has been a very very good tractor.

I have a DK65 with 1730 Kioti Loader. The Perkins Diesel has been flawless so far (28 hours),,, plenty of power!!

I really like the view when seated on the tractor, (no cab), all controls are within easy reach,, just a slight stretch for the loader control, but I never did tire from it. I wouldn't mind seeing Kioti add a 4wd light to the dash,, I forget when I'm in.

With 28 hours on it, I have mowed several times with it, (12' bushhog), and knocked down a pond bank and leveled it out.

My only complaint is the bucket, (7 foot). I have a quick attach/detach plate and the bucket has fallen off numerous times. Makes it a pain in the ass when trying to pull back loose dirt and level it out,, and then the bucket falls off!! I will say dealer has been very nice and new pins for the bucket are on the way. I think the ones in it are to short.

My impressions of the tractor so far are very good, and if someone asked me if I would buy one again,,,,, the answer would be definately!!!

I am waiting on a Kioti DK65 with Kioti loader. I was hoping to pick it up this Saturday, but that doesn't look possible. I'll probably shoot for next weekend.

I have a Massey 65 gas right now. Very good tractor. My Dad is buying it from me, as he really likes it also.

I looked at the Massey's, John Deere's, and New Holland's, but was getting scared of the $$$$$'s. I wanted a tractor that weighed more than my Massey, (which has a loader on it). The compact tractors of every brand do not weigh enough for me.

I have never heard anything bad on the Massey's!!! I think it will be an excellent tractor for you.

Gary,

My Dad has 2 of them, one with the belly mower. I have used them and they do bog down in grass. On level ground I was ok in 2nd gear, but go up a slight incline while mowing,, forget it. I would always have to go to 1st.

I did like the crank for the front, incase it wouldn't start the normal way,,, bout broke my wrist a couple of times,,,LOL.

We never had any heating problems.

Your situation sounds similar to mine. I have about 9 acres, 1/2 woods with creek and some hills. I wanted a bigger tractor (one that weighs more, not necessarily with more horsepower) than my Massey 65. Massey has plenty of power for what I needed, BUT had a hard time backing up with the loader. Rear tires were loaded.

I ended up purchasing a DK 65 with KL 1730 loader. It'll be more than enough tractor for me.
