Has anyone ever heard of hydrolic / transmission oil oozing out of the vent hole located under the seat?<br>

Out of the blue it started to do this on my tractor . The oil was milky and almost faomy. I immediately changed the filter and the oil thinking that there might be water in the system making it milky. No traces of water and it still did it after the oil change. <br>

THe problem went away for a year and mysteriously reappeared.<br>
<br>
The oil level is fine and the tractor is on level ground.<br>
<br>
Upon starting it up when cold it goes through a period of hydrolic difficulty and spewing and then I pull the dipstick and air escapes and everything seems to settle down. Yes the oil is foamy and milky but it does settle down after a while.<br>

There definitely is some air pressure in the resevoir. ???<br>

Any Ideas? <br>

I had my tc33d dropped off 2 weeks ago after looking on & off for a year. So far i love it even though i am still in the playing stage (can't get used to not pushing in the clutch when stopping). thanks for all the input while i was shopping,pat

I need a new tractor. Own 25+ acres,mow(lawn 1 acre-trails 1.5 miles). Lawn is mostly around house which sits in the woods,therefore have many trees to deal with.Also cut 6-10 cords of firewood /year. Add to this a 600 ft. driveway and to my best thinking I need not only a tractor,but a mowing machine.The problem is i don't want to spend the money to buy both.Have been thinking of a new holland td25d or a kubota 2710-2910.Both tractors get good marks, but would like feedback.Thanks,pat.

I have just purchased a 25 acre farm, 12 tilled and 13 pasture. I am a first time tractor buyer. I was really impressed with the 25D and was quoted a price of 14, 500 with supersteer and no implements. Will this be enough tractor for mowing, tilling, etc. or do I need to look at something else? How does this price sound? I am in SW Ohio. Any help would be appreciated.

I hear new holland is coming out with new financing,and or incentives on 3/1/2001. Does anyone know what they may be? Are spring incentives normally better than winter programs?Thanks,pat.
