Farmer Wannabe ; If you have a 3 point hitch I make 3 point hitch adapter so that you can use your 3 point hitch for a drawbar or it has a 2 inch receiver like on a truck hitch. I sell them for $125 with free shipping. If you are interested I well e mail pictures.

I am confussed. I have been looking very hard at the JD4100, dealer right down the street, have done business with them in the past. So here's my problem.I looked at the Kubota 7500 and then the NH TC21D. That really screwed up my decision.Factors, I want/need a backhoe for several jobs that I have around the yard. I only have about 3 arces but I have a lot of gardens, snowplowing (we had 100 days of snow on the ground this year) and moving of dirt to do this year and coming up.I know any of the tractors could handle it, but the JD4100 scares me for not having the backhoe and I have heard is a little underpowered...I want 4 wheel drive and all the NH21D saids it's either 2wd or FWD is that front or 4?Has anyone else made these conparisons? What were your factors?

I too just received my letter from John Deere and I live in an area effected by Floyd. I thought it was a very kind gesture from a big Corporation, so often unheard of this day in age. I certainly feel good about my decision to buy the Green. AND YES IS DOES MATTER!

Go with the 4100. Good manuevability, light on its wheels for tending the lawn, yet powerful enough to handle wet snow. With this particuliar size tractor you will feel comfortable on the grade you mentioned and still be able to get into those tight spots. The decision is yours as to what you may want to do with the tractor in the future, so choose wisely. (implement options)

Breck: Does the tractor have a mid PTO? ($1000 option) I just purchased a 4400 synchreverser with: 4WD,Mid PTO,R3's,Folding ROPS and Dual SCV for $16,000.<br>The loader quote you have is good! I was quoted $3125 installed. What size bucket? 60

Does anyone manufacture a three point trencher, similiar to the units that are installed on Ditch Witch machines, for a tractor? I know you may improvise with a middle buster or a few other implements, but nothing works as well. (except a backhoe)

I ordered a new tractor in the beginning of June and I am still waiting to receive it. I was curious on how long people have waited for their 4000 series tractors to be delivered. John Deere was to expect it off the line in the beginning of September. I have heard of dealers having the model I purchased in their inventory. I guess it is better to wait so the kinks can be worked out. I would also like to hear the reviews from fellow 4400 owners. Thanks

I am in the market for my first tractor. I am inbetween the tractors that are listed in my subject field and I am unsure as to which one is right for me. I am somewhat unimformed and looking for some guidence. Why should I buy a Kubota? Are they really the best brand on the market? I have been searching for a JD 870 - 1070 fwd with a planetary gear rear for a long time now and I have finally given up. I opted to buy a new 4400 with the 12F/12R synchro gear transmission. I plan on using the tractor for landscaping,backhoe/loader work and mowing. I really did not like the idea of not one dealer (I have four) to haveone on site to test drive. The 4300 seems to be plentiful and is similiar.<br>I would really like to know what problems they have before mine is delivered. The dealer assures me it is a very nice machine. (I hope it was not just a sales pitch). You are correct delivery time is in months! Any help would be appreciated!

I have an old A-C, Model B-10, that I'm restoring. I believe it to be about a '60 or '61. It has a model 23D B&S motor (serial#89381). I am interested in correct paint; availibility of decals,impliments and accesories etc.

I can buy a Ford 2000 for $5900. It has about 1600 hours, and was used to pick up golf balls on a driving range. It has new tires all around and a new seat, put on by the local dealer. Is this a good price? Btw, it is a gas burner. I think it is a 70s model. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Can someone give me some info on this model? I've got a lead on one with a tiller attachment for 3100. What is the hp? Will it run a small rotary cutter? Auger? Any info is much appreciated.
