I paid the same price for the same tractor with Super Steer, R4s, and 7308 FEL a month ago. Mine had 150 hours on it and still had a full 2 year warranty (it was some kind of program tractor). Dealer threw in cast iron wheel weights.
I'm not much of a negotiator so I may have been able to do a little better, but based on prices I see posted on this site, I think your price is within a few hundred of the bottom. It won't hurt to ask if he will either drop a couple hundred or throw in weights or something else you might need.

Doug, I have about 25 hours on my TC29D and for the first time today I had the experience of the bucket curling back instead of dumping. It happened twice. I remembered reading about the problem (when I was trying to decide what to buy) but couldn't remember the solution.
Was Murf's suggestion able to solve the problem or are you still trying to determine the cause?

Hans, I'm with you. After a couple hours of trying to get the height on the box scrapper right, my neck and back are hurting. If it weren't for my 10 year old son giving me neck rubs I don't know where I'd be. I have a TC29D and it has the rotating seat, but even with that you still have to stay somewhat straight to keep your foot on the HST pedal. I've only got about 20 hours of tractoring in and was wondering if this is the dark secret of tractor owners or if perhaps I'll develop stronger neck and back muscles and this ache will go away.

Sorry, Tom G, I should have said TC29D with SuperSteer as Bill noted. Thank you gentlemen, for the comments. I have been trying to be gentle - I don't like the sound of grinding gears because it sounds like money going down the drain! I will try to feather the clutch and see how it goes.
