I'm looking for tiller advice as I plan on starting a tilling and lawn seeding business this spring. My tractor is going to be a JD 3720 and I'm wondering which is the best and sturdiest tiller for the money. Our soils vary from sand to heavy clay but my biggest concern is for the rocks. I talked to a local King Kutter dealer this morning and he wouldn't endorse his tiller for commercial application. Price wass half of a Deere and it had no chain case as it was all gear drive. He thought it wouldn't take the rocks. Wondering what you fellas thought about this. Or is the Kuhn the one to get. I plan on sod breaking for tree rows as well as cultivation.<br>

I will be seeding into a variety of soil types from sand to heavy clays. The Woods renovator is quite a bit cheaper than the Landpride overseeder but I have concerns about seed to soil contact without the pto slit cuts.

The price I've gotten so far is around $23500 - the 15% discountto $20000. Recently heard if you belong to the AQHA John Deere would give an extra discount. 10% down no interest no payment program from Deere is good through Feb 27. Still looking for input and prices on grass drills.

I am a John Deere Salesman in Illinois. I would get a 5' rear 3pt blade for your 4100. What you can't dig out with the loader you can drag or push away with the rear blade.
