Joe, sorry for not responding any sooner, just havent had time. I got my information from the Deere and Kubota flyers. And my deduction came from the way the loads were taken. Deere used all loads at the pin, Kubota takes there loads at the edge of the bucket. And I was also looking at the 420 and 430 deere loaders vs the LA481 loader. Please I wasnt trying to start a color war, this was just my opinion and I have been wrong before. I do like the Deere and almost bought one, I just needed a tractor then not 6,7,8 months later. I have almost 25 hrs on my L3010HST and would still be waiting on the Deere that was ordered in late April.<br>Regards <br>Kevin

I also looked at the NH boomer tractors. After driving the NH, the Deere 4000 series and the Kubota's. I bought a Kubota L3010 HST. And LOVE IT. The 3010 is only 157 pounds more than the TC33 and with larger R4 tires the weight is dispersed more evenly. I cut my lawn (whats left of it with this drought), loader work, landscaping.....etc. The tractor is great and the HST trans. is more than great. Good luck

I have an L3010 HST too. First this is the pedal is not a gas pedal, it is for the HST trans only. The fuel is on the column. You did not say how many hours you have on the tractor. My tractor ran a little warm until it started breaking in. The more hours I have on the tractor the better it pulls and the temp is staying in the lower norm. range. And do check you fluid level as suggested. Good luck

I know how you feel. I had a JD 4200 Hydro ordered back in April but canceled the order about 3 week ago becouse the JD would not be delevered untill sometime in September. I purchased a Kubota L 3010 HST and LOVE the tractor, the hydro trans in the Kubota is GREAT!! Best of luck to you.

I have a Kubota L 3010 HST, 32 HP gross, comes statdard with mid PTO. And the loader capacity is more than NH and Deere. Hst. trans. works VERY well. I use a 60 in. finish mower. I also have the R4 tires, they are BIG but also float on the yard, (no dammage so far). The only problem is it takes longer to install the loader than the Deere. Hopefully with some practice this will get better. Test drive them all and most of all get a good dealer for service and parts. Good luck.

I finely received my 3010HST Friday!!! Used it first thing to clean up all the wood chip piles from the grinding of 79 stumps. Front end loader worked very-well. Then cut 4 acres of grass. And the R-4 tires did not tear up the yard any. Also took it over to my in-laws and did their back yard. This is one nice machine. And I love the Hst transmission.

I did want to add that the dealor I am working with has around 20 4000 series tractors, just not one with the configuration that I wanted. Also the dealor has been very informative. It seams like he (dealor) is frustrated with the long lead times too.

I took a small pump-up sprayer, took the sprayer end off(leave the valve intact). Went to the local auto parts house and got a tire filling attachment and some hose to connect to the valve. Put your antifreexe in the sprayer pump it up, connect the hose to the tire valve (remove the schrader (sp?) valve)and let it rip.

I cut almost 4 acres with a compact tractor (5 foot finish mower) in just over two hours. Takes another hour to trim. A grass cutting (only) machine can't move rock, dirt, snow (for some), plow, dig fince post holes,...etc . Get a compact tractor! (My opinion)

Calcium Chloride does weigh more than water/antifreeze. But it has one BIG problem...it will corrode your wheels.

I ordered mine 4/27, at the time of order there were 3 listed on the dealers computer one in Fla. and two in Washington st. Wait time is 60-70 days. Hang in there I know what you are going though.

I have accessed the site using IE 5.0 and Netscape 4.0 with no problems via proxy server and home ISP. The Deere web site is good size and will take some time to download if you are not using 56K connections (you and your ISP). good luck
