When I first looked at the web site I felt that the standard Fram filter was a inferior product, but then later on reflecting on the subject I considered that although the Fram is not a high tech filter it has been a quality product for a number of years. I'm speaking only of the standard Fram since I do not believe in adding Teflon or any other miracle to oil. I agree with your last comment. I've always believed that clean oil and clean air will lead to long engine life.

I can not shift my MT210D out of 4WD into 2WD. My guess is that it has been in 4WD for a long time (lot's of use). I have tried all kinds of configurations (wheels up, moving F&R) and have applied some pressure to the lever but I don't want to break something expensive. I'm wondering if the selector detent ball could be rusted tight. What else could cause this?

I have a friend that has a blower set up to run by hydraulic motor and is mounted on a Toro three wheel golf course mower with no problem, except the snow here is always wet and slushy. The mower puts out about 23HP and the blower is about five foot wide. I'm not sure about direction of rotation, but if the pump can be run either direction the you can drive it either direction, if not then drive it backwards. the torque against the shaft will be in the same direction and the pump will not know if it is driving or being driven.<br>After talking to my friend about this he said that it seems that pumps are always smaller(pressure,)and motors biger(volume). My guess is that you would need to figure out the RPM needed on the blower and then the RPM given on the rear PTO and by volume of pump and then volume of motor figure the volume ratio that matches the RPM difference ratio. Should be a correlation like this if pump to motor volume = 1:1 then rpm = 1:1, if pump to motor volume = 2:1 then RPM = 1:2, and if pump to motor volume = 1:2 then RPM = 2:1. So in the first case the pump to motor rpm is the same (PTO to Blower RPM) , the second it slows the motor to half and the third it doubles the blower speed. I will bet that if you talk to the right hydraulic guy he will half a day discussing this with you. Good luck and remember this advise is free and worth just as much.

Sounds like a good machine. How much reach do you have with the bucket and how wide are the tracks?

The glow plugs on my tractor are the sheathed type and appear not to work although they draw current. Is this something that needs to be pulled and cleaned or do they fail but continue to draw current.
