If I never have to plow another flake of snow it will be too soon. The last year I lived in western NY state it snowed a foot on halloween and kept it up all winter. I had to plow my 400'driveway nearly every day with my old Ford 9N & back blade and tire chains.
I have a couple of fir trees we cut yesterday that I will chain up to my bucket and move just to see how the loader works. It's cold out here but cold to me is 35 degrees.

When I say "shuttle shift" I mean yo can shift from 2nd to reverse, using the clutch, while rolling.
The super steer would not have been my choice, that is just the way it came and I am sure I will bebefit from it tho I don't know how yet. I can see where it might be good if mowing but I won't be using this tractor to mow.
We are tree farmers, I bought the TC33D primarily for maintaining my roads, I also have a Ford 600 and a NH/Ford 3010S 55-HP.

I have been using one of these for 5 years, it was hanging on the wall of the equipment shed when I bought our ranch.
Besides skidding logs,I also use it for pulling out small trees & brush. I use it behind my King Quad, NH 3010S, Ford 600 and will use it with the Koiti 3025-XS I am buying this week.
When I need a longer reach I hook a chain or 2 on.
They are an easy hook up and don't unhook when you pull as log chains tend to do and they unhook easier than a chain when it is under a log. I use a Clevis/Grab hook on the swinging draw bar.

I looked at a 2310 yesterday and had the dealer take the backhoe off so I could look at the 3-Pt. hitch.
The backhoe brackets got in the way of the lift arms so they would only open to 24", none of my existing 3-point equipment would fit at any position.
So, now I am thinking about buying a either a NH TC or one of the new TZs, I like New Holland anyway.
I did like the 22.5 HP on the MF.
