Jim had mentioned the use of a board with caster wheels positioned under the deck to help with sliding the mower out. I cut with the deck at 2 1/2".

For removal leave the front wheels set at the 2 1/2 height. Bring the rear wheels up to the highest point. I use two small 3 caster-wheel dollies (from Home Depot) one under each of the rear wheel. Drop the system down hydraulically onto the dollies and it's a breeze to manipulate the deck out, store. With the fixed rear wheels the rotational point is limited, the dollies are inexpensive and work like a champ.

In July I bought a new TC25D Hydro 4wd with loader(7308)and belly mower(914)for $21K, haven't a clue what it's worth today. If it was a car I lost 10-20% just driving off the lot, but it's not and it's been worth every nickel. My neighbor bought a TC45 with the backhoe and is very satisfied.

So I'm still trying to make my decision between a 4100 or a 2100/2400. Looking at the recent posts a few things pop out. <br>The long wait for Hydro 4100,� score one for KUB�.<br>The brake pedal layout on KUB, how do you make a brake assisted turn? You Kubota owners can help me out here, or is this �score one for DEERE�<br>Hook up for mid mower. Do you really have to lift the front end of a KUB? Score another for �DEERE�<br>Any other info you can give on anything to tout your choice between these two fine machines would be helpful.

Thanks Roger, I know what you say is true, but I don't know of a tire that will make that big of difference. The septic designer says you can drive a small skid loader on as long as you have on tracks (ie �dress shoes�) but no tractors.
