As we discussed I need to finance my new purchase, otherwise your tractor sounds rather tempting. I've spoken to the dealer and am planning on finalizing the purchase on thursday. My concern is the possiblilty that Kubota will raise their rates on April 1st. The current rate, 3 year, 3.99% seems to me to be a rather good deal. (With my luck they'll probably lower the rates afte the 1st!).

FYI.

Kubota's financing rates might change on April 1st. Nobody knows what they will be (they might stay the same), but from what I've been told they usually go up in the Spring. I'm planning on taking adavantage of the 3-year, 3.99 rate this week.

The dealer I spoke with told me that Kubota changes their financing rates on April 1 and he doesn't know what they will be (I've heard that from someone else on this board before). I was considering going with the 3 year 3.3% which is available now. Does anyone know if Kubota generally raises them in the Spring (as I suppose they would). Also, are their rates at this time of the year usually the best (or not)?

Thanks all for you input.

We have 9 acres of cleared, virtually flat land that I need to mow. I would say about %60 of it I never got around to mowing last year (since it took forever on the lawn tractor), and is now currenlty about 4 foot high weeds/grass/hay. Do you think the mmm would do a good job cutting this? I know that it would basically(hopefully) be a one time shot since I would hopefully be able to keep up with it better. I'll try to post some images tonight.

Another potential problem I face is what dealer to purchase from. Living in central jersey doesn't give me as many options as living further south or west it seems. There is a New Holland dealer in Trenton not too far, but I don't think they have much on the lot. They deal more with construction equipment. There is also a Kubota dealer in Washington on the Delaware about 30 miles from me. I've stopped there on weekends when they were closed and they seemed to have at least one of every model of Kubota compacts. I know I could get a good deal(maybe) over the internet, but I'd rather buy locally just to start a good relationship with a dealer.

CamperNJ, are you located in NJ? If so I was wondering what dealer you bought from. I am currently considering a TC25D or a TC29D.
