My TC40D was one of the early 1500+ that had to have the gear replaced in the transmission due to the safety recall. I did not want a tractor with less than 100 hours on it that had been split in half and torn down about as far as it could be. I worked out a deal where I paid for hours used, and cost difference between a 2000 and a 2001 model. My new one should be here this week. No need to worry, I bought a TC45D that did not have to have 20+ hours of work on it to replace 1 gear. I love the tractor and the service I received from NH to make me happy.
