I have GST tranny and according to the book I change at 50hrs and again at 400hrs.Mines holds 10 gallons and you drain it in 4 places under the tractor. I just changed it at 50hrs and seems to shift better. I used regular UDT at $34/5gals. Based on what you said I take it you have never changed yours would highly recomend it. The filter was $24. Tractor cost more to operate than a boat. Hope this helps.

Get it all at once. I purchased a Kubota with FEL,Disk,PH,Cutter and boxblade. You can finance it all at once and the rates are low with Kubota was 6.9% and so far I am happy with what I purchased. It is a lot of money and my first tractor took me 42 years to get it so I got it all.Plus my dealer gave me 10% discount by purchasing it all at once. Good Luck!!!!

Thanks to all that replied. I purchased a L3710 GST with R4's, loader,disk,post hole digger, box blade and a cutter from my local dealer we finally came to terms. After 12 hours I am happy with it. So far all is great. Just finsihed planting 32 poles for a place to store it. Thanks again.

Sounds like a great deal. Where is it coming from. Looks like I might purchase a Kubota if Carver and I can come to terms on shipping price. Shipping fairly steep for 750 miles. Congrats and maybe my stock will go up.

Sounds pretty good to me. I priced NH today and I like the tractors alot even own stock in them but they are little pricy in NW Florida, only one dealer in 150 mile radious. TC 33/R4/ $14900 loader add $3900,TC 35D/R4/$16900 and so on. Loved the features, seat, sway bars etc. Any other pricing from others?

I live in NW Florida and the 790 w/loader industrial tires $14500. I'm trying to decide on it or the Kubota L3010GST a few bucks more but not sure it is worth it.Going to auction this weekend and see what they have to offer.

Might want to go by a Case/IH dealer. Their utility tractors have a super-simple ROPS, that any reasonably good shop could copy. Wouldn't be gov't. approved, but if it saved a life, who cares?

Have seen almost nothing about clutch, transmission or HST problems on either Kub L-series or JD 4000 series tractors. Are these things that good or am I looking in the wrong places?

For one comparison, I just purchased the same configuration(Kubota L3010 HST,<br> LA481 loader with 60

the heavy duty bucket on the loader. Price before taxes was $17,700.
