I have a 99 with 500hrs, finishing mower and 4 ft bush hog that I paid $5500 for last year. The cab, loader and low hours will demand a higher price.

Go with th B3030.. Thats cheap money for 4 extra HP, plus the B3030 has the better seat (adjustable springs), plus the operating rpms is 200 lower on the B3030. Also, if you decide to sell, trade, you will easily get that extra money back..

Why is it another dealers work. If you are a New Holland dealer why aren't you standing behind the product that you sell, regardless of where it was purchase. The warranty is a NEW HOLLAND warranty not a dealer warranty. All warranty work is a loss weather it a car, truck or tractor. What if you moved since you bought your tractor boy you would be screwed. Is this common with the other manufactors you certainly wouldn't get away with this with a car.

I am looking for information on a Harry Ferguson TO 30 S/N: TO129613. The owner has stated that the tractor is a 1963 or 65 vintage but I am suspect. The tractor is blue with grey fenders and hood, runs great and was completely reworked two years ago. He is asking $2000.00. Anyone have any idea of the correct age and weather or not this is a good price.<br>

I have a 1981 460 in need of rear fenders. Does anyone know of any reproductions out there. Will ford 4000 or the like fit? Any solutions welcome.

The unit has 1400 hours and runs fine. I had topped off the coolant and ran for about 2 hours cutting my grass didn't heat up or use any coolant. I checked the coolant after it cooled down and it didn't use a drop. I think i am ok now.

i let brother in law barrow my tractor a 98 New Holland TC33. He cut his 3 acrea field with it, I went over to his house a noticed he had the grille and radiator grille completly plug with grass and stuff. I know he probably overheaded or got it hot becuase I now when I cut my yard I keep an eye on it and when it gets pluged it will run hotter. He had plugged way more thtn I have ever seen it. This is my only complaint with this tractor. I checked the rad fluid and it was low about a half gallon. I haven't talked to him yet so I don't know exacly how hot it was. My question is how much damage could have been done? It started up and ran fine. Are these forgiving tractors when ran hot? What should I check for? I did not see any coolant in the oil.

I have a 1999 TC 33d with an 7308 loader. When I lift the bucket and leave it in a raised position it will bleed down. like 6 inches in a 30 minute peoriod. It doesn't matter if it is loaded or empty. Is this nomal or is there an ajustment that needs to be made at the controls?

My wife and I recently bought 26 acres - about half hilly field, half thick trees - outside of Portland, OR, and I need a tractor. This message board has been invaluable so far (once I picked myself up off the floor after the sticker shock)! Here are a few questions I would appreciate help with (remember, I'm new to this so some may seem very basic): What is a single or dual service control valve? Why would I want one or the other? I have narrowed my search to either a JD 4600 or NH45D, would both be adequate for mowing, moving rock/gravel, and other common chores for this acreage? I gather from the posts that buying a tractor is somewhat like a car, i.e., I should haggle with the dealer and be prepared to walk away. True or not? I've read the axle concerns and loader concerns regarding the JD with a lot of concern being a beginner, how do I know if the JD I buy has a new axle or not? (Other than by asking the dealer.) Are there similar concerns with NH, but they just aren't as well known due to the fact that JDs are so much more common? Thanks to any who respond!

Made between '78 and '88, about 24 HP, 22 PTO HP if I remember correctly. Made by Yanmar. Early models have a single stage clutch and a de-compression system for easier cold starting. Later models have a two-stage clutch, no decompression, and an external hydraulic oil filter under the right footrest. Available in 2 and 4 wheel drive.<br>I have an early model 2wd and like it very well. It doesn't have power steering, but it doesn't need it, as I don't have a loader. I wish it had the two stage clutch, as it would make brush hogging easier in the heavy stuff. It handles a 5' cutter with no problems.<br>Parts are readily available at my local JD dealer. All I've had to do is routine maintenance.
