I am thinking of buying a B7510 with the backhoe and front loader. Anyone had any good or bad luck with this model?

<br>Does anyone know what the symptom is? Just hard to shift, or what?<br>I have about 30 hours on a 4300 SyncReverser and it seems to be ok. The shift linkage for the hi range could be a little better but otherwise ok.<br>Thanks,<br>Charlie

All in stock. Total was $19,129
Not the best price I've seen but a fair price, I believe - especially with the
supply/demand situation. I was going to hold out for a Hydro model but decided to go ahead with the SyncReverser since it was in stock.
There are 4400 + 4500 models in stock around here (Eastern Nebraska).

According to my dealer (in Eastern Nebraska) the 420 loaders are scheduled out into August. That's one of the reasons I went with the 4300 w/430 loader - they had both in stock (but I had to give up Hydro and go with SyncReverser).<br>I don't want to second guess your dealer's intentions - they are probably upright, but I would think that he would have been able to get a 420 loader within the last 6 six weeks. If they are just now looking it may be along wait. <br>I would suggest that you get the 430 loader if you can find it. Ask them to call other dealers. Or, get the names of the dealers within a couple hundred mile radius and call them yourself. Go to the Deere web site and do a dealer search there.<br>I don't know about implements but dealers can see what tractors other dealers have in inventory through their computer system and can do searches for specific models, etc. to see who has them. <br>Where are you located?<br>Charlie <br>Charlie

Well - I've gone full circle. The dealer thought he could trade his 4300/SyncRev with another dealer for a 4300/HST but it fell through. I have an option of waiting for a Hydro and the dealer will work with me by loaning me a tractor in the meantime but, based on discussions here and with others, I have decided to go with the SyncRev. Previous experience with a standard tranny in the past makes me believe I can get along just fine with the Synchro + reverser and I can use the extra $1,200 or so towards another implement instead. <br>Price for tractor (4300/SyncRev/4wd/mid-PTO/Turf tires/DSCV) is $14,894. 430 loader is $3,025. I believe this is a fair price based on what I have seen posted here and elsewhere and based on the current demand for these tractors.<br>I was told that the 420 loaders are in such high demand that if you ordered one today you wouldn't get it until after the first part of August.<br>What a market opportunity for Deere with these compacts. Too bad they weren't able to ramp up faster to meet the demand.A couple dealers I spoke to were pretty frustrated to have paying customers at their doors an not be able to take their money! They can move a few to larger or smaller platforms but it looks like Deere has a winner in this series. I don't know how strong the demand is with Kubota, New Holland and others. Dave:<br>I meant to ask - you mentioned your 4300/ROPS/430 loader for 17,980. What other options? Hydro? tires? Mid PTO? If so, you got a very good deal, in my estimation (not that I fully understand this market, though). I perhaps will pay a bit of premium for the extra shipping and the fact that I am buying one in stock? I'm just glad to find one!<br>charlie

Perhaps a very basic question:<br>I noticed in some posts here and in the option list in the catalog about Dual Selective Control Valves (DSCV) and see there are 3rd and 4th valves, etc. available as well. <br>Could someone please enlighten me as to how these are used/selected? Under what circumstances sould you desire more than two? Assuming I will have a front end loader and one 3 point implement on at a time, do I need the DSCV?<br>Thanks for the feedback!<br>Charlie

<br>I just posted a previous message about my dilemma about which tractor + transmission to get. Now I need to seek input regarding pushing snow.<br>I will have 600' of rock lane to plow in the winter. I live in Eastern Nebraska and can get snows from an inch or two up to a foot or more depending on year. <br>What setup works best for pushing snow? My hunch is to have the front loader for moving piles, digging drifts, etc. and then have a rear blade (#45) for scraping/pushing snow. Or would you go with the front blade with full hydraulics and no loader? Then there is always the snowblower but think that may be overkill?<br>What do the rest of you use for snow?
