My Shibaura seems to have lost power recently. I checked the air filter and it was quite dirty. Ordered a new one. Checked my coolant and found it looking very dirty also. Plan to flush it next weekend. When I press the accelerator it rev's nicely. Just doesn't have the get up and go it once did. I'm concerned about compression. Any input or suggestions?

Got online and determined how to purge the air from my lines. Tractor will start now. Thanks to gaspur! Candoarms,are your suggestions related to the odd issue I have after an hour or so of using the tractor? It begins to act as if it is not getting fuel when I press the accelator pedal.

I replaced the stater thinking that was the problem. It wasn't that as it does the same thing. Nice to know that's where the darn solenoid is though. It's really hot down here in Texas and I haven't had time to ohm out the starter switch yet.
